10 Great Easter Gifts for Children

· · · Comments

There’s something about Easter egg chocolate that makes it taste better than regular chocolate.   I feel the same way about Advent Calendar chocolate.  It’s just yummy.  It tastes even better two weeks after Easter Sunday when Tesco is having a mass clear out of seasonal items and that enormous Lindt spherical being you’ve been eyeing up is marked down to 50p.  I’m all about gifting chocolate for Easter.  But just in case you want to give something that lasts a bit longer than seven minutes, here are some other great Easter gift ideas for children.

  1. Chicky Egg Cup Playset £10 (for ages 3-4 years)

I love the cheeky retro look of the chick egg cup.  This wooden playset comes with 2 smiling toast soldiers, as well as a wooden spoon.  It’s made from responsibly sourced rubberwood and painted with water based inks.

     2. Organic Vegan Chocolate Box and Dinosaur Toy £3 (for ages 3+)

Ok, these are yum.  Made from coconut, vanilla and cocoa beans.  Great for kids with any kind of food allergy as they are lactose, gluten and nut free.  They also don’t contain any plastic.  The wrapper is biodegradable in your compost bin.  I also have an animal version if dinosaurs are a bit scary.

  1. Lune the Rabbit £20 (suitable from birth)

I just adore this Moulin Roty rabbit.  He is dressed in organic cotton and linen.  His big ears allow him to listen to children’s problems.  He is 29cm tall, so a nice size for little hands.

  1. Love Book by Emma Dodd £6.99 (suitable from birth – age 2)

The illustrations in this stunning board book are adorable.  It follows a Mummy and Baby bunny about as they frolic through their day.

  1. Wooden Duck Pond Gears £25 (Suitable from 18 months – 3 years)

Cute and educational!  I love this take on a traditional gear toy.  It’s really well made and comes in a lovely box so makes a great gift.

  1. White Duck in a Basket £10 (suitable from birth)

A great place to put little eggs as part of an Easter gift.

  1. Miffy £18 (suitable from birth)

Available in pink and blue, this classic rabbit toy has a contemporary look.  Made from soft corduroy.

  1. Rabbit Linen Apron £14 (suitable for ages 3-8 years)

With Easter crafts on the horizon, this is a great gift to keep their clothes looking their best.  The rabbit’s face is a pocket and you know how excited we all get about pockets!  A navy fox apron is also available.

  1. Mousse Small Rabbit £15 (suitable from birth)

Wrapped in a leaf, this adorable little friend can slip into pockets and go wherever you go.

  1. Three Little Bunnies Book £5.99 (Suitable from 18 months – 4 years)

With the new Peter Rabbit film being released in May, these little bunnies are going to be everywhere!  This is a lovely book that I usually recommend to help children prepare for a new sibling.
