The Tiger Who Came To Tea

£6.99

A few years ago I was sat on the 33 bus heading towards Hammersmith from my home in Barnes.  I was minding my own business as is the way on London public transport.  A woman approached the lady sitting next to me and said she was a huge fan and asked for her autograph.  Suddenly I was very interested.  I peered over my Metro subtly trying to read the signature.  It was Judith Kerr.  Legendary author of the Mog books and of course, The Tiger Who Came To Tea.  This is someone that has sold 10 million books yet still took the bus.

There is a fascinating story behind the true meaning of The Tiger Who Came To Tea.  Well worth a Google.
