A hit!

This "build a doorbell" kit was a great hit with our 7yr old grandson. We had to explain to him that it was not acceptable to leave your own birthday party in order to build his doorbell as he wanted to do! He did spend a lovely afternoon putting this together (with Dad there to assist if necessary) and has it outside his bedroom to control older brother and sister entering. Highly recommend this for any child interested in how things work.
